Regardless of the reason for gambling, it is important to understand the health risks associated with it.<\/p>\n<p>The movie Casino reveals the darker side of Las Vegas, showing how mafia bosses fought for control of a city minting money by the billions. The movie also explains how the mafia lost control of Vegas, and how the casino industry grew into what it is today.<\/p>\n<p>Casino is a classic, and it features an excellent cast. Robert De Niro is the star, but Sharon Stone also impresses as the sultry blonde hustler Ginger McKenna. Joe Pesci is menacing as the ruthless mobster Santoro. The movie is well written and directed by Martin Scorsese.<\/p>\n<p>Modern casinos have a wide range of security measures in place to protect their guests. Elaborate surveillance systems offer a high-tech eye in the sky that can watch every table, change window and doorway. Casinos also have technology in place to ensure the fairness of games.
